Using Eco-Therapy to Reduce Stress
June 11th, 2008 by admin
Eco-therapy is the term used to describe using nature as a remedy for reducing stress. More and more people are finding that being out in nature significantly decreases their stress levels. There have been studies that show that being in nature decreased depression in 70 percent of patients and 88 percent said their moods changed after going for a walk. Experts even suggest having a photo of where you like to be or want to be in your place of work so you can be reminded. Your brain will identify with it and you will feel better. Taking time for being outside and away from the hustle and bustle will show an improvement in the way you feel.
