With winter around the corner our immune system can be compromised and the effects of stress can takes it’s toll.  Aromatherapy has been used to reduce stress but in actuality it doesn’t do much. It really causes a brief happy feeling but do not evoke lower stress responses and is not long-term. Alcohol is also another way people relax and unwind but it’s a depressant. Drinking more than one drink a day can compromise your immune system and contribute to poor sleep. Try methods like yoga, meditation and breathing techniques to reduce your stress.
