Stress Could be Linked to HPV
April 1st, 2009 by admin
The Human Papilloma Virus, or HPV is a pretty common STD that usually clears up on it’s own. Sometimes it doesn’t and can cause cervical cancer. The Fox Chase Center conducted a study and found that women who were found to be very stressed showed a very low immune level to the virus. Not a surprise really that stress would have an effect. The best defense is to find time for yourself every day to relax and de-stress.
