Is Stress Linked to Alzheimer’s?

Studies with mice have shown that stress and anxiety can cause lesions on the brain that can lead to Alzheimer’s. Researchers injected stress hormones into young mice the level of the proteins that are associated with the lesions went up to 60%. Continued exposure after the lesions had formed in the brain worsened the pathology. It’s so very important to be able to reduce your stress and anxiety.
