Probably the biggest culprit of stress is our own mind, we are constantly thinking the same thoughts repeatedly and become agitated and stressed. Being able to calm your mind is a great skill to have and it takes some practice. Meditation is a great way to calm the mind and you only need as little as 10 minutes a day. You may find it difficult at first noticing that your mind is full of thoughts leading from one to another which gives you no break to relax. The more you do it the more you will find that you can create calm in your life not just with meditation but also when you find yourself in stressful situations. You may be able to find a guided meditation on CD or a podcast that you can download to start the practice of calming your mind.
