Psychologist Mark Baldwin developed a game that helps train the mind to avoid negative reactions. Many golfers are very critical and have a lot of stress while in the game. This game has a person pick out the smiley faces among the frowning ones. Baldwin did a test with his game and had golfers play before golfing. He had another group play the placebo game. Those playing the smile game did better at their game and were less stressed while playing. This game helps with breaking mental habits of negativity and self-criticsim.
